<description>Great post Matthew. This is something I have to remind myself of quite often. It&#039;s far too easy to just look at the opportunities right in front of your face and not look at the bigger picture. When that happens I have to constantly reassess my priorities and often important things get left by the wayside (pun intended).

Specifically with the band we have 2 basic goals. A specific and immediate goal of trying to branch out regionally and build up a following in cities outside of the Houston area. Secondly, our online presence. Trying to get our songs out there, look for licensing opportunities and making our music viral through free releases (under Creative Commons) and stems for remixing.

Beyond that we really don&#039;t have an end goal because we really don&#039;t know what the future will hold. 5 years ago it would have been to get a record deal and tour the world but now the musical world has changed and that is no longer on our radar. All we can do is get the word out there, improve in our playing and song-writing, and constantly push the creative lines of innovation. Hopefully if we build it &quot;they&quot; will come :-)
