Jamal,

We'll be holding another Booking Party in the next couple months as a result of the success of the last one. But one of the goals of publishing this ebook was to allow anyone to be able to host their own Booking Party to help out their community. Just print out a couple copies of the ebook and get together with some other musicians and write venues for a couple hours. Stay tuned and hopefully the book is useful.

[...] Bandcampus: BOOKING PARTY will be perfect for bands whose 2010 goals are to play more often but don’t know how to get started. We’ll provide the tables, chairs and the internet. We’ll also be giving you an ebook (for free) that includes a venue list for Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Victoria/Corpus Christi as well as a mad-libs style email contact form and a mad-libs style phone contact form and review the process of contacting (and following up with) a venue to book your band. This ebook will be published online the next day for those of you who want to spread it around or download a copy for yourself. More information about the ebook is here. [...]
